About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Global Sustainability team enables Google to build a more sustainable future for everyone by driving strategy and solutions. We drive the development and implementation of Google’s global sustainability strategy to further empower action, ensure alignment and prioritization, identify leadership opportunities, and mitigate risks. We drive sustainability strategy and programs on carbon, circular economy, water, product integration, reporting, and employee engagement, while serving as a sustainability leadership advocate internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of complex utility infrastructure projects across the EMEA and APAC portfolio.
  • Work with a worldwide network of stakeholders to ensure that all key players are coordinated on roles, responsibilities, and deadlines.
  • Develop and implement project plans, track progress, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Be in coordination with commercial, engineering, and operations teams, to lead strategic water and wastewater utility infrastructure programs that build and maintain a robust pipeline of capacity for data center fleet.
  • Responsible for campus specific delivery for the scope items from preliminary due-diligence through operation.
Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status. We also consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements. See also Google's EEO Policy and EEO is the Law.
