Germany is an important market for Google Cloud globally and in the region, with an ambitious commercial agenda and significant growth potential. As the Director of the Public Sector (PS) in Google Cloud, Germany, you will be an advocate of Google Cloud PS and will drive how customers in the region view Google Cloud. You will have responsibility for the strategy and execution of the organization’s business plan as well as the quota for achieving targets within the market.
In this role, you will drive business generation and customer acquisition for Google Cloud. In addition, you will be a figurehead for Google Cloud internally and will work cross-functionally to ensure alignment and an integrated go-to-market with other organizations, including Marketing and Operations. This includes defining and ensuring that we have the right and complete offering to address the Public Sector market.

Responsibilities
- Create and drive innovative programs focused on delivering growth at Google scale. Meet with customers/policy makers and participate directly in shaping the key agreements and accounts within the sector.
- Lead a sales team to meet quarterly and annual bookings objectives.
- Develop and execute the overall Public Sector Cloud strategy for Germany.
- Drive the engagement with all government entities and represent Google cloud with government officials and during Public Sector events.
- Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Google Cloud products and services in the region.
