About the job

The YouTube Government Affairs and Public Policy (YT GAPP) team is dedicated to shaping the global regulatory and policy landscape to protect and advance YouTube’s business, creators, and users. At the intersection of tech, policy, and society, our team works to proactively secure policy wins, defend liability protections, and build trust with key opinion formers (KOFs) worldwide. We partner closely with YouTube’s product, business, and executive leadership to help navigate complex geopolitical risks, execute go-to-market strategies, and drive meaningful external advocacy. Whether advocating YouTube's innovation story, safeguarding open expression, or cultivating strong organizational health, YT GAPP plays a critical role in enabling YouTube's mission safely and sustainably.

In this role, you will be an expert in the policy environment affecting YouTube’s business operations in the country. As a team player, you will coordinate with the GAPP team across France to understand the policy issues that affect YouTube’s business operations and develop strategies to protect YouTube’s interests. You will keep the YouTube policy and leadership teams updated on emerging risks and help develop strategies for how to address them.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
