The team is responsible for Extract, Load, and Transform/Extract, Transform, and Load (ELT/ETL) capabilities used to orchestrate and manage data processing end-to-end, and gain visibility and control over their data, whether the data resides in Google Cloud, on premises, or in other clouds.

Cloud Composer is a managed workflow orchestration service, growing quickly. The product enables organizations in the world to orchestrate their data processing at a massive scale.

Dataform is a new Google Cloud product under BigQuery. Our mission is to provide collaborative code-asset storage and drive billable usage through orchestration and code-powered developer workflows across Data and Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new User Interface elements for Cloud Composer and Dataform and change existing ones to improve User Experience (UX).
  • Implement Google Cloud configuration capabilities for Cloud Composer and Dataform.
  • Work with Product Management and UX to define product requirements that put the user first.
  • Partner with back-end teams on Application Programming Interface (API)/system designs.
  • Participate in monitoring and debugging efforts, support frequent releases.
