A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the integrated project controls (cost, schedule, risk, change) for the sub-region, driving proactive thinking and planning for project control implementation from the sites through to the regions and the program.
  • Act as a trusted business partner for Data Center Services (DCS) partners and other key cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring communication, collaboration, and connectivity to support project delivery.
  • Oversee teams performance ensuring compliance across cost, schedule, risk, and change. Onboard GCs to specific requirements and manage the assurance of their deliverables and execution.
  • Manage the selection, on-boarding, and oversight of the managed service project controls vendor(s) for the sub-region scope, driving cost reductions, efficiencies, and ensure performance.
  • Maintain precise cash flow through invoicing while managing risk and change via regular meetings, full system utilization, and early-warning register entries.
