As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google Cloud's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. In this role, you will collaborate closely with partner teams like Dataplex and Dataproc. As a member of our small, early-stage team, you will have excellent learning and growth opportunities.
You'll be a part of the BigQuery team, where you'll be empowered to design, implement, launch, and land large-scale, impactful projects with the necessary support and guidance, and a large pipeline of enterprise customers waiting to use your features.
You'll be instrumental in shaping the architecture and future of BigQuery's metadata management capabilities.
You will be focused on improving Federation support for BigLake. This includes support for major strategic partners such as Salesforce and open-source standards such as the Iceberg REST Catalog.
