Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in solution engineering and 3 years of experience in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.
- 3 years of experience in system architecture and reading code (e.g., Python).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields.
- Experience with machine learning with a focus on application.
- Experience with the financial services industry in regulatory compliance.
- Experience with technical consulting in a customer-facing role working with a variety of different types of customers, engineers, and businesses.
- Experience with cloud platform development (e.g., Google Cloud Platform or similar).
- Ability to lead and organize the design and implementation of AI-based custom developed cloud solutions.

Google Cloud Risk AI is an entrepreneurial team building platforms to support use cases like the detection of financial crime. The team's goal is to build products that elevate the speed and effectiveness with which a financial institution can identify criminal activity, leading to a better protection of the financial system and overall society.
Applied AI builds conversational agents deployed at a large scale that achieve very meaningful results in the real world. Some examples include the customer agent built for large call center environments, to fast food ordering handled by our Food AI agent. The team is transforming how enterprises connect with customers through the power of AI. We also offer unique experiences for team members where you get to work directly with the model builders (Google DeepMind / Vertex), learn and work with brilliant AI leaders, and have access to Global 1000 customers via our existing Google Cloud relationships. Responsibilities
- Provide data-driven management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Google Cloud AI teams (e.g., product, engineering, sales, professional services, learning, etc.).
- Solve customer use cases using Cloud AI conversational products to drive broad customer adoption, create reusable assets (e.g., code, toolkits, training), and deliver training for new product features or solutions for customers, partners, and field teams.
- Discuss functional, technical, and basic commercial topics with customer stakeholders (e.g., developers, line managers) and empathize, shape, and influence them.
- Work with customer stakeholders as a trusted advisor and provide guidance on solution decisions.
