Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 11 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.
- Experience in a people management role leading sales teams.
- Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to engage with clients in the region.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
- Experience in e-commerce.
- Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics.
- Ability to model and coach sales behaviors including executive level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, competitive offerings, including track record in commercial teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills, with the ability to self-initiate and grow in a rapidly changing environment.

The Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Engage teams are designed to drive growth for small-sized businesses with significant expansion potential in France. The Engage team specializes in delivering the most effective solutions to high potential startups as well as to more mature companies in each stage of their journey, in the most efficient way for the business at scale.
In this role, you will lead and coach a high-performing sales team that uses sales skills to understand our advertisers needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will also lead relationships and sales engagement with high potential small businesses from all verticals and business models in the market. Be it a startup or a more mature business, wherever they stand in their journey, you will set them up for long-term sustained success by bringing the best of digital ad solutions from Google. You’ll enable your team to always reach ambitious revenue and productivity goals. With your knowledge of the GCS business landscape and online media, combined with your sales and problem-solving abilities, you will help shape how new and existing clients will grow. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. You will partner directly with clients to provide comprehensive service.

Responsibilities
- Recruit, retain, motivate and develop a client-facing and high-performing sales team.
- Deliver against ambitious revenue and product targets, grow engagement and client satisfaction for a portfolio of small businesses in an assigned market.
- Analyze data, trends, and client performance and develop strategic plans for customers while tracking activity and provide detailed data analysis weekly, driving consistent Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tracking.
- Model and coach sales behaviors, including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and selling.
- Ensure team readiness to deliver complex advertising solutions and create a culture of sales innovation and advertiser success on the team.
