The Manufacturing Operations team is responsible for providing the manufacturing capability to deliver this physical infrastructure. As a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer, you will support the product manufacturing with our contract manufacturer partners and create the processes, tools and procedures to ensure specifications and deliveries are met. You will be ensuring manufacturing processes are repeatable and controlled. You will collaborate with Commodity Managers, Supplier Quality Engineers and Design Engineers to determine Google’s infrastructure needs and product specifications. Your work will ensure the various pieces of Google’s infrastructure fit together perfectly and keep our systems humming along smoothly for a seamless user experience.
The Global Manufacturing Operations organization works closely with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, and Commodity Management teams as well as our Manufacturing Partners to produce Google Cloud infrastructure for Google's fleet of data centers. You will be responsible for leading the development, qualification, and continuous improvement of mechanical parts and the integration of all them at partner sites globally.
