As a critical part of the Google Trust and Safety organization, the Play and Android Policy team’s mission is to promote a positive experience for users and developers. You will help work toward this goal by developing and implementing fair and consistent policies and by protecting the online safety of our users.
We are responsible for developing and launching new policies: for content and behaviours. We serve as policy experts on cross-functional teams. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to work to gain consensus on important, cross-functional policy issues and solution.
Responsibilities
- Support Play and Android Policy strategy creation and execution to continuously identify needs and improve processes.
- Engage with and influence key stakeholders, including leadership, across Google Play and Android to identify emerging policy needs.
- Lead the global strategy for Real Money Gambling, including understanding and evaluating the nuances between regulated gambling and unregulated gaming.
- Identify abuse trends, gaps, and opportunities across products and internationally.Track and analyze emerging trends regulation, abuse, innovation and growth to design best-fit policy solutions.
- Partner with Operations to develop, evaluate and improve enforcement processes and guidelines.
