Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience building machine learning solutions and working with technical customers.
- Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Ability to communicate in English and German fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in German with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building conversational applications with Google Dialogflow or similar products/tools.
- Experience building applications powered by Large Language Models.
- Experience in technical consulting.
- Experience with modern cloud architectures and technologies.
- Understanding of contact center technologies and platforms (e.g., Avaya, Genesys, Cisco, Mitel, Twilio, etc.).
- Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.

As a Cloud AI Engineer, you will design and implement machine learning solutions for customer use cases, leveraging core Google products including TensorFlow, DataFlow, and Vertex AI. You will work with customers to identify opportunities to apply machine learning in their business, and travel to customer sites to deploy solutions and deliver workshops to educate and empower customers. Additionally, you will work closely with Product Management and Product Engineering to build and constantly drive excellence in our products.

Responsibilities
- Work with Customers, Partners, and Google Product teams to deliver Conversational AI solutions into production.
- Coach customers on the practical tests in Conversational AI design of conversational flows, integrations with third-party systems like contact centers, websites, mobile applications, and popular messaging platforms.
- Be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve real business issues with Conversational AI.
- Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders.
- Travel up to 30% and also use video conferencing in-person for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities as needed.
