Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer 2/3 routers, and data services.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with local telecom service providers (Colocations).
- Experience with local regulatory standards, procedures and requirements to execute network infrastructure installations.
- Experience collaborating across multiple levels and functions.
- Ability to engage and influence tactical and strategic decision-making.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

You will be a key contributor as a member of the Global Network Delivery team, directly impacting Google's ability to deliver network capacity to its customers. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of network delivery through automation and process innovation.

Responsibilities
- Deliver Google's network reliably and at scale, with a focus on workflow automation and efficiency.
- Drive adaptable and scalable approaches, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize network deployment cycle time and operational costs through process improvements.
- Own an area of responsibility, addressing issues, anticipating needs and escalating as necessary, while identifying automation opportunities to improve efficiency and prevent reoccurring failure modes.
- Maintain accurate network data to drive operational excellence.
