Join our team and develop the device software that powers all Fitbit trackers, from the newest models to existing ones. We own the entire software stack, from low-level drivers to user interface development, and collaboration with multiple teams to deliver a seamless and valuable user experience.
Our team develops the critical embedded software subsystems for Fitbit trackers, including device bring-up, system health and performance, thermal and power management, algorithms, graphics and display, and sensor integration. Our team is part of the wider Pixel Watch and Fitbit Device Software organization, naturally sharing hardware and software components across products.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
