Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud architecture in a partner-facing or support role.
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience designing and building architectures and migrating workloads to cloud environments.
- Experience working in, supporting, or working with technologies or solutions related to, the cyber-security industry.
- Ability to communicate in English and one of the languages: Spanish or Italian fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with virtualization or containerization platforms and migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
- Experience with Google Cloud solutions, as well as cyber-security-specific solutions and concepts.
- Experience with networking and security concepts.
- Experience building business partnerships with partners and customers in an architecture or solution delivery role.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders, and working cross-functionally, in a collaborative, environment.
- Experience conducting partner technical engagements with excellent communication skills.

As a Specialist Partner Engineer specialized in security, you will work closely with Partner Development Managers and Partner Engineers to grow and support the Google Cloud security partner ecosystem. You will understand the technical solutions and capabilities of our partners and are in the position to recommend the partner to our customers.
In this role, you will lead the cyber-security focused efforts to enable partners with technical knowledge in industry relevant technologies and solutions. You will contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by supporting partners as they illustrate how Google Cloud security solutions can help customers innovate, bring their services to market, differentiate from performers, and create new business growth streams. You will help partners succeed in the proof of concept, data migration, application migration, and deployment phase, ensuring they have full access to Google Cloud’s artifacts, tools, templates, and practices.

Responsibilities
- Enable partners in prototype and demonstrate product integrations and guiding customers through assessments of their existing legacy application environments. Support partners developing solutions, ensuring the use of Google Cloud.
- Recommend and review integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to implement complete solutions on Google Cloud.
- Work with Partner Managers to identify and recruit partners in the market that can deliver innovative and complete solutions to our customers. Onboard partners to the Marketplace and empower them to drive successful pilots, proofs of concept, and production workloads.
- Build technical assets collaborate with partners to develop Google Cloud specific solution documentation, joint technical articles, webinars, whitepapers, and demos with ISV products.
- Scale customer wins through partners by promoting the partner with account teams and developing relationships.
