- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in cryptography.

Responsibilities
- Engage in cryptographic library development, specifically, working very closely with the BoringSSL team to add new features to the library, and engage in library maintenance.
- Work closely with the BoringSSL TL, and other parts of Google, to meet user needs.
- Work very closely with partner teams that have a critical dependency on BoringSSL.
- Guide more junior members of the team to land features and perform maintenance.
- Grow experience in cryptography consultation and review, as you work with teams across Google on their cryptography library needs.
