This organization therefore forms an integral part of Alphabet’s global controllership, working closely with our global operations team, professional service providers, in-country business leaders, and the broader finance, tax and legal teams.
We manage the legal entity processes that allow Google to expand and operate globally, as well as ensuring an optimal global corporate landscape. As part of the Legal Entity Governance team, your work will be a critical coordination point, directly supporting the creation of new legal entities around the world. In addition to this, you will be assessing the overall legal entity landscape to ensure any dormant entities are assessed for liquidation. You will partner closely with various business areas across multiple product areas including Finance Engineering, Controllership, and other finance and non finance teams across Google to ensure our operations & corporate landscape assessments run smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Analyze Alphabet's global corporate landscape and entity data to optimize organizational structures and enforce legal entity policies across expanding product areas.
- Manage legal entity data and workflows directly within internal tools, using the platform to deliver operational updates on the progress of new entities and liquidations.
- Develop and refine comprehensive policies to govern the complete legal entity lifecycle management, from initial incorporation through to final elimination.
- Collaborate with cross-functional finance and non-finance teams to facilitate business expansion, legal entity set up, operationalization, and liquidation while working with stakeholders to resolve project roadblocks.
- Generate project management materials for entity creation, such as timeline estimates, status reports, and etc. Drive continuous process optimization by identifying root causes, using technology to enhance accuracy and efficiency, and producing detailed project management documentation including timelines, status reports, and issue tracking.
