We are seeking an Engineering Manager with an infrastructure technical background to lead the growing engineering team in Warsaw.

Our team manages one of the world’s most sophisticated, planet-scale data processing infra product. This platform is the backbone of the organisation, powering foundational AI/ML features related to YouTube or Search, and next-generation AI initiatives.

In this role, you will lead a team of high-performing Software Engineers dedicated to evolving the next generation of distributed computing. Your primary objective is to advance the scheduleability and auto-tuning capabilities of the data processing infrastructure. These optimizations are critical for supporting both massive-scale Machine Learning (ML) pipelines and standard data workloads. You will bridge the gap between complex infrastructure and the cutting-edge products.

Responsibilities

• Discover and implement advanced optimization techniques to enhance system auto-tuning and resource scheduling.
• Deliver fleet-wide performance improvements while collaborating with key partners across the company, including teams working on autonomous driving and frontier AI models.
• Lead research into AI-driven optimization strategies to make data processing more efficient and self-healing.
• Recruit, manage, and coach a growing team of engineers, foster a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate effectively with leadership and global stakeholders to align on long-term infrastructure roadmaps.
