As a Mechanical Technician, you'll ensure 24/7 reliability of our physical infrastructure. Your core duties involve operating, monitoring, and supporting Mechanical systems critical to data center performance, including: Water pumps and treatment systems, chillers, HVAC and advanced control and monitoring systems. You'll regularly inspect, maintain, and repair these systems. Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems such as piping and mechanical system components, completing planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance.
  • Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions, including reacting promptly to Building Management System (BMS) alarms and responding to HVAC-related client problems.
  • Manage the uptime and maintenance of water pumps and treatment systems, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and control/monitoring systems.
  • Provide daily assistance to technicians as you read blueprints/schematics/sequence of operations, conduct system tours, and assess their working order.
  • Ensure all safety processes and requirements are followed and conduct routine quality checks for comprehensive maintenance records.
