As a Software Engineer in the data foundations team, you will play a key role in building and maintaining the platform that empowers Google Health engineers to build features for users. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying back-end services and intuitive automation tools using Java/Go/Kotlin. You will have the opportunity to work on projects that directly improve engineering efficiency and code quality, collaborating with a team and contributing to a culture of automation and innovation. You will be involved in the full software development life-cycle, from understanding user needs to deploying and maintaining scalable solutions.

We bring together the best of Google technologies and AI, health behavior science, and user-centered design to help users organize the health and wellness data, get insight from it, and take action toward their health goals. We do this with a suite of apps, services, and health wearables. We aim to make consumer health more personal, proactive, and actionable.
