Minimum qualifications:

- 11 years of sales experience in marketing, consulting, digital media, business development, or advertising agencies.
- Experience in leading sales teams.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to support clients in the region.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time domestically or internationally.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with people management including identify, attract and develop talented people, and create a positive team culture.
- Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics.
- Ability to model and coach sales behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.
- Ability to own sales team operations in the UK market (e.g., portfolio management, team building, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurement, execution).
- Ability to grow on immersion in a changing environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for selling with a drive to innovate and the ability to be personable yet dedicated.

As a Sales manager, you will lead and coach a high-performing sales team that uses sales skills to understand our advertisers needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will lead relationships and sales engagement with high potential small businesses from all verticals and business models in the market. Your team sets them up for long-term sustained success by bringing the best of digital ad solutions from Google. You will enable your team to always reach motivated business and productivity goals. Your knowledge of the GCS business landscape and online media, combined with your sales and problem-solving abilities, shapes how new and existing clients will grow. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. You are an excellent communicator with the ability to train and motivate a large team, and take a problem-solving approach to sales management.

Responsibilities
- Recruit, retain, motivate and develop a client-facing and high-performing sales team.
- Deliver against motivated business, productivity and product goals, grow engagement and client satisfaction for a portfolio of small businesses in the UK market.
- Analyze data, trends, and client performance with your teams to develop strategic plans for customers while tracking activity and provide detailed data analysis weekly, driving consistent CRM tracking.
- Model and coach sales behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and selling.
- Ensure team readiness to deliver complex advertising solutions and create a culture of sales innovation and advertiser success on the team.
