ELECTRONIC MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR Position descriptionWe are seeking an experienced Electronic Maintenance Supervisor tooversee and coordinate the maintenance activities of electronicequipment and systems within our plant. The ideal candidate willpossess strong technical expertise in electronic systems, alongwith proven leadership skills to effectively manage a team ofmaintenance technicians. This role requires proactiveproblem-solving abilities, a commitment to ensuring optimalfunctionality and reliability of electronic systems. Mainresponsibilities - Supervise a team of electronic maintenancetechnicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensureefficient and effective execution of maintenance tasks. - Developand implement maintenance schedules, ensuring timely inspections,repairs, and preventive maintenance of electronic equipment andsystems. - Coordinate with other departments to schedulemaintenance activities, minimizing disruptions to operations whileprioritizing safety and regulatory compliance. - Diagnose complexelectronic system issues, utilizing troubleshooting techniques anddiagnostic tools to identify root causes and implement solutions. -Oversee the calibration and testing of electronic equipment tomaintain accuracy and compliance with industry standards andregulations. - Manage inventory levels of spare parts andequipment, coordinating procurement activities as needed to ensureadequate supplies for maintenance tasks. - Collaborate withengineering teams to assess the performance of existing electronicsystems and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhancefunctionality and reliability. - Maintain documentation ofmaintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals,and maintenance logs, ensuring accuracy and completeness forrecord-keeping purposes. - Monitor and enforce safety protocols andprocedures, promoting a culture of safety awareness amongmaintenance staff to prevent accidents and injuries. - Stay updatedon advancements in electronic technology and industry bestpractices, incorporating new knowledge and techniques intomaintenance processes as appropriate. Needed experience &competencies - Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering,Electronics Technology, or a related field; or equivalentcombination of education and experience. - Proven experience inelectronic maintenance, with at least 5 of supervisory orleadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similarenvironment. - Strong knowledge of electronic systems, includingcircuitry, components, and troubleshooting techniques. -Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals,schematics, and diagrams. - Excellent leadership and interpersonalskills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team ofmaintenance technicians. - Effective communication skills with theability to convey technical information clearly and concisely. -Strong organizational skills and time management abilities. -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-pacedenvironment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines. -Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to electronicmaintenance activities. - Proficiency in computer skills, includingfamiliarity with maintenance management software and MicrosoftOffice applications.
