Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the design of new equipment and production lines, and follow the development of suppliers.
  2. Identify and propose optimization/adaptation on existing processes in the sites/protoshops worldwide in loco.
  3. Participate actively in project team activities: meetings, preparation of end-of-phase reviews, functional analysis, functional and technical specifications.
  4. Analyze general project risks and conduct Generic FMEA.
  5. Resolve blocking issues in innovation by proposing new ideas.
  6. Design 3D models/2D drawings of specific tooling and devices.
  7. Build tolerance stack-up and optimize dimensioning.
  8. Support external supplier activities and keep risks under control.
  9. Lead design activities with internal and external contributors.
  10. Challenge R&D on the manufacturability of the product.
  11. Support the technology roadmap definition.

Join our team if you have:

  1. BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering field.
  2. Detail-oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills.
  3. Experience in Mechanical Design in the automotive industry.
  4. International experience in project development or technical support.
  5. Experience with SOLIDWORKS: Part Design, assembly design, and drafting.
  6. Experience with manufacturing processes: Molding, Stamping, Machining.
  7. International mindset and availability for international business trips.
