Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design of new equipment and production lines, and follow the development of suppliers.
- Identify and propose optimization/adaptation on existing processes in the sites/protoshops worldwide in loco.
- Participate actively in project team activities: meetings, preparation of end-of-phase reviews, functional analysis, functional and technical specifications.
- Analyze general project risks and conduct Generic FMEA.
- Resolve blocking issues in innovation by proposing new ideas.
- Design 3D models/2D drawings of specific tooling and devices.
- Build tolerance stack-up and optimize dimensioning.
- Support external supplier activities and keep risks under control.
- Lead design activities with internal and external contributors.
- Challenge R&D on the manufacturability of the product.
- Support the technology roadmap definition.
Join our team if you have:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering field.
- Detail-oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills.
- Experience in Mechanical Design in the automotive industry.
- International experience in project development or technical support.
- Experience with SOLIDWORKS: Part Design, assembly design, and drafting.
- Experience with manufacturing processes: Molding, Stamping, Machining.
- International mindset and availability for international business trips.
