Our team is responsible for the assembly of high-quality and innovative products.Partner with the bestA Plant-SQE is responsible for collecting, assessing, and prioritizing Quality/HSE/Technical claims from Manufacturing/Logistics operations related to Suppliers delivered products, driving Commodities SQEs for prompt and effective risk mitigation, investigations, and corrective actions. The main goal is to expedite and support continuous improvement of the Suppliers Base Quality level, reducing both escaping defects and associated Cost of Quality, while ensuring business continuity for the Plant needs.As Sr Supplier Quality Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:Act as the primary entry point SQE for the BH plant needsAttend plant production/quality meetingsReview Suppliers critical-to-Quality NCs periodicallyEngage Commodities SQEs early in Product Quality Improvement initiatives requested by the PlantDrive cross-functional initiatives for manufacturability improvement and cost savings of supplied productsEnsure collaboration between functions and locations to comply with engineering and customer specificationsFacilitate disposition for Suppliers Deviation Requests (SDR) critical to business continuityCoordinate return to vendors of defective items for repair or replacementSupport the deployment of Quality StrategyFuel your passionTo succeed in this role, you should:Hold a degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalentHave significant experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or Quality rolesDemonstrate proven leadership capabilitiesHave experience in driving corrective actionsBe able to read and interpret technical drawings and product specificationsPossess technical knowledge in areas such as welding, heat treatment, destructive & non-destructive testing, machining (considered a plus)Be familiar with ISO 9001/9100 standardsBe fluent in EnglishHave excellent communication and presentation skillsBe willing to travel up to 30% domestically and internationallyWork in a way that works for youWe recognize individual preferences and offer flexible working arrangements, including remote work up to 30% from home or other locations.Working with usOur people are at the heart of what we do.
