Requirements QualificationsIn addition to the Basic Education Requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. This experience should include:Administering a wide range of contract actions such as firm fixed-price, cost reimbursement, time and materials, basic ordering agreements, contract scope determinations, modifications, justifications, approvals, business clearances, and awards, to perform pre-award and post-award functions.Negotiating prices, terms and conditions, modifications, and settlements involving procurement of supplies and services.Interpreting relevant laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to resolve specific contracting issues.Providing guidance in procurement planning, statement of work preparation, and identifying potential contractors or sources.Applicant must meet the Department of Defense qualification requirements for 1102 contracting positions (link) and the Title 10 requirements (link).Experience includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer work that develops relevant skills and competencies.
