Poland Financial Controller page is loaded Poland Financial Controller Vacancy: Finance Controller Location: Gliwice, Poland Job Family: Finance We are seeking a Finance Controller to oversee financial controls, statutory and tax reporting and compliance. This role ensures adherence to internal and external regulations and policies, including preparation of accurate statutory financial and tax reports and implementation of financial controls. The Finance Controller will collaborate with business unit team to ensure compliance, provide financial insights, support decision-making, and drive operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Work cross-functionally by promoting collaboration and best practices in financial controls management. Oversee financial statutory and tax reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls across business operations. Prepare annual Statutory Accounts and other regulatory reports (NBP, GUS). Partner with Local Tax Lead and Global Tax functions to ensure compliance with local tax regulations in Poland. Responsible for review and submission of monthly and annual tax returns (VAT, CIT, WHT, property tax) as well as transfer pricing documentation. Key liaison point for PWC full year audit management. Approving payments and performing assigned manual controls. Lead tax compliance projects, including implementation of SAF-T (JPK) modules, deployment of new e-billing KSeF processes and other SAP related process optimization initiatives. Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and financial reporting accuracy. Manage internal controls to minimize risks and support financial efficiency. Requirements for the Role: University degree or equivalent. Experience in Polish statutory accounting. Experience in Polish tax reporting in an international manufacturing environment, including transfer pricing, preferably with experience with special economic zone requirements. Ability to collaborate, interact with a diverse group of finance teams across multiple geographies (including BPO team in India, teams in Poland and Lithuania). Fluent in English and Polish, with strong communication skills for senior stakeholder interactions. Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to help others think through problems by providing appropriate knowledge. Ability to drive value, efficiency, and results while adapting to changing priorities. Self-disciplined, target-driven, and able to work independently.
