We are seeking a proactive and experienced ProjectDeveloper/Land Manager to lead land scouting and originationefforts across Italy. With a minimum of 3 years of experience, theideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluatingpotential land opportunities, navigating environmental andurbanistic constraints, and negotiating land agreements withlandowners and local authorities. The role requires closecollaboration with the legal team to finalize agreements and ensuresuccessful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Conducton-site land scouting across various regions of Italy to identifysuitable locations for BESS projects. - Use tools such as QGIS,Google Earth, and urbanistic constraints programs at the municipaland community levels to evaluate land viability. - Assessenvironmental and urbanistic constraints according to Italian law,ensuring full regulatory compliance. - Lead negotiations for BESSplant land agreements, including leases, purchases, surface rights,among others, and evacuation easements. - Collaborate closely withthe legal department to finalize land agreements and closenegotiations. - Establish and maintain strong relationships withlocal city councils and municipal stakeholders, ensuring smoothapproval processes for land acquisitions. - Engage with localcommunities and stakeholders to facilitate approval and align landagreements with project objectives. Qualifications: - Minimum of 3years of experience in land scouting, or a related field within therenewable energy or real estate sectors. - Strong understanding ofenvironmental and urbanistic constraints under Italian law. -Proficiency in GIS tools (QGIS, Google Earth) and urbanisticconstraints programs at the municipal and community levels. -Proven experience in negotiating land agreements, including leases,purchases, surface rights and easements. - Solid understanding ofregulatory frameworks and the ability to collaborate with legalteams to ensure compliance. - Strong communication skills, with theability to engage effectively with city councils, landowners, andother stakeholders. - Extensive key contacts database across Italy,including external support in terms of lands. - Willingness totravel regularly for on-site land assessments acrossItaly.
