They are seeking an experienced and motivated
HR Generalist/Business Partner
to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering HR strategies that drive their business objectives. You will manage a wide range of HR functions across the employee life cycle while supporting transformational projects and initiatives. This role offers a clear path for professional development, with the potential to grow into a higher management position within 3 to 5 years.
What you will do:
Strategic HR Partnering
- Partner with leadership teams to implement HR strategies that support organizational goals and foster a high-performance culture.
- Act as a trusted advisor on all people-related matters, including workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Lead and participate in strategic HR projects that drive business transformation and enhance employee engagement.
Workday HRIS Management
- Maintain and ensure the integrity and accuracy of employee data within the Workday HR Information System.
- Generate and analyze HR metrics and dashboards to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead or contribute to Workday enhancements and optimization projects to streamline HR processes.
- Lead the transformation from AFAS to Workday ( critical part of the job in the beginning)
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance with Dutch labor laws, and adherence to CAO/CLA (Collective Labor Agreements).
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, pension plans, and other company-sponsored initiatives.
Employee Relations & Talent Acquisition
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, employment law, and best practices, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Support the full recruitment life cycle, from job postings and candidate selection to offer management and onboarding.
- Drive the new hire orientation process to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including payroll processing and HR operations.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage complex initiatives and deliver results within defined timelines.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
- In-depth understanding of Dutch labor laws and regulations, CAO/CLA agreements, and HR compliance.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent management, organizational development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Dutch proficiency is a plus.
- Ambition and potential to grow into a higher management role within 35 years.
