As part of the owner''s engineering team, the Lead Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing and reviewing civil and structural engineering deliverables from the FEED contractor, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.Key Responsibilities:* Lead and coordinate civil and structural engineering activities during the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) or Basic Engineering phase of a Hydrodesulfurization (HDS) project.* Supervise and interface with FEED contractors to ensure that civil deliverables meet quality, schedule, and technical requirements.* Review and approve design documents such as site development plans, foundation designs, structural calculations, and general arrangement drawings.* Ensure compliance with international codes and standards, client specifications, and safety regulations.* Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., process, mechanical, electrical) to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration.* Participate in design reviews, constructability assessments, and technical coordination meetings.* Support the client team in Rome with civil engineering expertise and act as a liaison between the client and contractor.Qualifications* Bachelor''s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.* Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, working on major oil and gas projects.* Proven knowledge of international standards applicable to civil and structural design (e.g., Eurocodes, ACI, AISC, ASCE).* Experience in FEED or Basic Engineering phases is highly preferred.* Ability to manage third-party engineering contractors and coordinate technical reviews.* Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Italian or French is considered a plus.* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Additional InformationAt SEGULA Technologies, diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of our human resources policy.
