You will respond to tickets from application owners, analyze requirements, and design/build firewall policies to ensure secure and efficient network access. This position requires a solid understanding of networking and security principles, as well as a customer-centric approach to quickly address stakeholder needs.
scheduling network updates, performing upgrades, and installing patches or service packs
monitoring and troubleshooting network systems for new ways to improve performance
performing data backups, updating virus protection software, and implementing new network data security systems
working with external service and supporting vendors to ensure optimal network operation
working within established configuration and changing management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to network infrastructure
fluent spoken and written English
2 years of hands-on experience in network security or firewall engineering

in-depth understanding of Network Security technologies(FW, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, SASE/SSE) and associated principal vendors(Cisco, Citrix, F5, Fortinet, VMware)
broad range of understanding of ITIL, ITSM and industry best practices
