Senior Compliance Officer (M/F) ParisClubTrust has been mandated by a leading international insurance group to recruit a Senior Compliance Officer (M/F) based in Paris. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact role at the heart of the companys European operations, acting as Deputy to the Head of Legal & Compliance Europe.The Company:A global specialty insurance group with offices in the US, UK, Europe, and Ireland. Its European HQ, located in Luxembourg, oversees operations across several EU jurisdictions.Role:Youll act as a senior member of the Legal & Compliance function, with direct involvement in regulatory strategy, compliance monitoring, and internal governance across Europe. Based in Paris, you will work closely with the Head of Legal & Compliance Europe (based in Luxembourg), supporting them on cross-border regulatory topics and acting as their key counterpart for compliance matters in continental Europe.This role combines technical compliance advisory with group-level coordination, offering visibility with senior leadership and meaningful ownership over core compliance processes.Responsibilities:Provide regulatory advice on insurance law, distribution, complaints handling, and conflicts of interest (excluding financial crime).Advise business lines (underwriting, claims, operations) on regulatory and conduct topics.Interpret and implement compliance rules and ensure alignment with local regulations and Group policies.Contribute to the execution of the European Compliance Monitoring Plan.Communicate updates on risk appetite, distribution strategy, and licensing changes.Coordinate with UK teams on compliance monitoring activities.Manage and update internal policies, procedures, and training content.Prepare reports for Boards, Committees, and Regulators; support internal/external audits.Profile:7+ years experience in regulatory compliance within the insurance sector.Strong understanding of insurance operations and European compliance frameworks.Solid knowledge of relevant legislation across key EU jurisdictions.Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.Proven ability to operate independently in international environments.Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.Why Join?Strategic exposure: Work closely with the Head of Legal & Compliance Europe on cross-border initiatives.European impact: Contribute to group-wide compliance governance.Paris-based: Operate locally while staying fully integrated in the European structure.Strong package: Competitive salary and full benefits.______________________ClubTrust is engaged in processing your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 ("R.EU 2016/679"), and the related law of 1 August 2018.
