The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our Non-Malignant Hematology team in the Rare Blood Disorders department. You will play a vital role in designing and executing in vivo experiments to support the development of new therapeutic strategies for bleeding disorders, including Hemophilia and Von Willebrand Disease.
What Youll Do
Plan and conduct in vivo studies, evaluating pharmacodynamic effects and therapeutic benefits of experimental treatments
Develop and utilize disease-relevant mouse models related to hemostasis and thrombosis, integrating in vitro assay data for comprehensive interpretation
Present scientific findings clearly and effectively during routine team meetings
Enhance existing models and workflows, contribute to assay optimization, data capture improvements, and automation of lab processes
Foster a positive and well-organized lab environment, collaborating closely with colleagues and sharing responsibilities
Your Profile
MSc or BSc in Life Sciences (e.g. molecular biology, immunology, pharmacology) or completed apprenticeship as research associate, with at least 3 years of hands-on in vivo experience
Deep practical experience with mouse models, including handling transgenic lines, administering injections, collecting and processing tissue samples, disease model analysis, and performing both survival and terminal surgeries
Proficient in in vitro techniques such as ELISA and biochemical assays for data evaluation
Fluent in English (written and spoken) with strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities
Outstanding skills in data documentation, digital records, and laboratory organization
Bonus Skills
Familiarity with the biological and methodological basis of hemostasis and thrombosis in preclinical mouse models
