The company has a robust pipeline in USA, EU, UKm Australia, Chile, and other key LDES markets.The CO2 Battery is a standardized, modular product which uses off-the-shelf industrial components with well-established, global supply chains, enabling Energy Dome to rapidly scale-up and accelerate widespread adoption of the technology in key global markets.Energy Dome offers the CO2 Battery to the market both as a technology supplier (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and under an energy storage-as-a-service or Build-Own-Operate (BOO) business model. The BOO arm is experiencing significant growth with projects moving into operation phase, as well as a significant backlog of projects in development and under contracting. This key service line will cater to customers that prefer not to own and operate CO2 Batteries themselves, but prefer to enter into long term capacity offtake agreements with Energy Dome.We are now looking for a:Head of Asset Management (Energy Storage as a Service)to join our team and take responsibility for maximizing the value of operational CO2 Battery assets, whilst keeping them safe, reliable and compliant. The role will drive all technical, commercial, operational and financial efforts associated with the Asset Management function in close coordination with many internal and external shareholders. The Head of Asset Management will build the Asset Management function with a team of Project Asset Managers, Operations & Maintenance and Contract Managers that coordinate and support the commercial and contractual elements associated with maximizing operational efficiency and revenue for all of Energy Domes operating assets.Since the company is growing quickly, Energy Dome anticipates that significant career and professional development opportunities will emerge for the selected candidate.Role Location:Regular travel required (>30%) including HQ (Milan) and to project sitesReports to:COO, Energy Storage as a ServiceInteracts with:Internally: Engineering, SalesExternally: Customers, Contractors, Suppliers, relevant authoritiesAreas of focus:Availability: Develop and implement asset strategies to ensure long-term performance, safety, and profitability with a focus on reliability and availability.Stakeholder management: Manage Asset-Level Interfaces with internal teams, external partners, and service providers.Asset Readiness: Define and execute Operations & Maintenance procedures for planned and unplanned outages, with a high degree of operational control over the asset for customers with a focus on high quality, reliable information.Operational excellence: Minimize frictions in handover from project delivery into operations, ensuring assets meet operational and commercial goals.Performance accountability: Drive asset performance balancing safety, reliability and operational efficiency.HR Coordination: Be directly responsibile for the Plant Directors located in each Energy Dome''s plant, in Italy and abroad.Key responsibilities:Establish an Asset Management function starting with the first operational asset in Italy, laying the groundwork for a global asset management fleetCoordinate closely with internal teams such as Product Engineering, Project Engineering, Development, Commercial / Sales, Finance, and 3rd Party Operation & Maintenance contractors, to maximize operational efficiency & revenue for all operational Energy Dome BOO ProjectsEnsure availability of assets for customers, with final responsibility for Operations & Maintenance strategy, budget, implementation, planned outage schedules, and responding to unplanned outagesTeam closely with Engineering personnel to anticipate, identify, diagnose and trouble-shoot operational performance challenges on an asset-by-asset basisEstablish and implement effective asset reporting frameworks, with responsibility for developing and tracking Key Performance Indicators for asset operations and performanceOptimize asset performance to meet commercial contracts and maximize profitability in long term offtake contractsResponsible for development and management of project annual budgets, third party service contracts, invoice tracking and approvalDevelop monthly financial reports for financial stakeholders (e.g. project finance lenders, insurance, etc) working with Finance and Accountin
