Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk identification and assessments.
- Plan, monitor, and evaluate preventive measures in the workplace.
- Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements.
- Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Prepare reports and summaries for management, participating in decision-making meetings.
- Implement and oversee compliance with ISO 45001 standards supporting area managers.
- Maintain and update emergency plans.
- Conducting training sessions and organizing regular emergency drills to ensure the team is well-prepared and compliant with safety protocols.
- Ensuring that personal protective equipment (PPE) and operational controls meet safety requirements.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Performing site visits and inspections across the region (Europe) to ensure project compliance and progress.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Technical Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Masters Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (covering Workplace Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering sector.
- B2-level English or higher.
- Willing to travel 40% of the time across Europe
- Strong skills in communication, attention to detail, proactiveness, and continuous learning.
- Knowledge of national and international health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Internal auditor certification for ISO14001, ISO45001
