Our CFO Advisory team is looking for a (Senior) Manager - IFRS Advisory to expand its team and further support CFOs with building the success of their capital market or other financial operations and deriving value from their complex financial reporting challenges. What you will do As a (Senior) Manager - IFRS Advisory, you will grow and lead a team of experts supporting clients in all of the financial reporting and communication challenges raised by their transactions or by regulation: deal and post-deal accounting, consolidation, IPO preparation, special financials and carve-outs, structuring for complex projects, IFRS conversions, new accounting standards or interpretations, ESG reporting, etc. Project management: Drive, manage and operationally steer capital markets and financial reporting assignments in close coordination with the responsible Partner and other specialized professionals across KPMG. Manage small to large teams of professionals to deliver projects supporting rigorous, informative and persuasive financial communication mostly under IFRS. Assist our clients with technical accounting analyses for their complex projects or transactions mostly under IFRS. Commercial management: Develop expertise and knowledge of a variety of clients and markets, and awareness of KPMGs service offering. Drive, manage and operationally steer business development activities, from lead identification to the presentation of pitches and preparing proposals to potential clients. Support in expanding KPMG CFO Advisorys growing footprint in the Belgian market. Assist in the development of new and improved financial reporting and accounting advisory service offerings. Contribute to review(s) on completion of projects to identify lessons learned and enhance future quality and commercial planning. People management: As a performance manager, recruit, manage, develop, motivate, train, and coach team members to maximize the achievement of their potential. Coach and lead your operational team(s) by exemplifying both hard and soft skills, in accordance with KPMGs quality, ethical and people management values and standards. Skills & Qualifications: Masters degree with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in financial reporting, either within IFRS advisory or within audit serving public interest entities applying IFRS. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required to assist with the analysis of complex accounting questions. Strong interest in business to translate transactions and operations into financials, and to translate financials into compelling equity stories. Business consulting skills offering concrete and specific information to help solve a problem or improve a process for a business: creative thinking; thinking conceptually and practically; communicating clearly and empathetically; collaboration; organization and time management; flexibility; curiosity. People management skills. Fluent in English and either Dutch or French (both written and spoken).
