About the Role:

The Process Networks Engineer plays a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing Operational Technology (OT) security, managing GxP systems, and supporting continuous improvement projects within a regulated bio-pharmaceutical environment. Key responsibilities include:

1. Network Security System Administration

• Ensure compliance with OT-Security directives and maintain documentation.
• Manage IT-Security interfaces and firewall configurations.
• Keep architectural and configuration documents up to date.

2. System Implementation Updates (GxP Systems)

• Apply software updates and patches to maintain system integrity.
• Support new equipment installations, working with Project Plant Engineering teams.
• Modify and update functional recipes in consultation with departments like Operations, QA, QC, and Supply Chain.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

3. System Administration Life-Cycle Management

• Handle system and user administration tasks.
• Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations.
• Oversee technical maintenance of operational GxP systems.
• Coordinate with local service providers and vendors.
• Conduct annual reviews, compliance activities, and system validations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Process Automation, or a related field.
• Expertise in process automation systems, especially Emerson DeltaV or Siemens PCS7.
• Strong knowledge of OT/IT networks and cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with cGMP standards, ISPE guidelines (GAMP5, Baseline Guide 5), and computerized system validation best practices.
• Project management certification (IPMA, PMI, or similar) is a plus.
• Fluency in English (Dutch and/or German is a plus).
