We are looking for
An enthusiastic student who likes to gain experience in the financial sector and to learn about data engineering. Develop, maintain and optimize the infrastructure of PFNL Data Warehouse. Establish full, accurate and timely documentation of all relevant processes, issues and controls in the DWH.
Result areas
Result area 1: Execution of data processing
Responsibilities
Timely and complete collection of daily files from Service provider as well as data sources from other business partners
Timely Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process to maintain complete and accurate Data Warehouse at PF NL.
Ensure coherence of the processed data
Activities
Perform daily data (ETL) processing.
Perform coherence checks. Collect and prepare regularly internal control evidence.
Formally give the approval to the DWH users for querying and reporting.
KPIs
Timely and accurate population of DWH

Result area 2: Project work
Responsibilities
Participation in different minor project activities and steadfast collaboration with colleagues
Activities
Contribute in data analyzes and the creation of Proof of Concepts to support project teams towards more robust design.
Make recommendations for implementation of changes and discuss them with manager.
Implement agreed changes
KPIs
Result of the project.
Reduce costs by optimizing processes, procedures and shortening of deadlines.
Development of working instructions and documentations.
Result area 3: Work Place Instructions
Responsibilities
Keep the relevant work place instructions up-to-date.
Ensure work place instructions are reviewed by colleague or manager
Establish full, accurate and timely documentation of all relevant processes, issues and controls in the DWH.
Activities
Update documentations after process and procedural changes.

Fully functional WPIs
Quality of the documentation.
Complete, accurate and timely documentation of all relevant processes, issues and controls.
Job requirements
University degree(in progress), Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics.
Good communicator, able to communicate in English and Dutch(preferably).
Technical skills and IT applications (e.g. SAS, Excel, SQL), Database Management and Risk.
Knowledge in any other programming languages (e.g. R, Python).
