Team Leader Instrumentation & Automation, Monza-BrianzaMonza-Brianza, ItalySTI Engineering srl, a multinational engineering company present in 8 countries and offering multidisciplinary design and consulting services in Civil, Industrial, Energy & Chemicals, Marine sectors for over thirty years, is seeking a Team Leader in Instrumentation & Automation.The role involves developing control systems and instrumentation design for plants in Energy & Chemicals, Oil & Gas, and industrial sectors. Reporting directly to the COO, the candidate will manage team resources, oversee project planning, and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards aligned with project objectives.The position also requires providing technical support in preparing new proposals related to the discipline.Main responsibilities of the I&A Team:Process control instrumentation activities (mechanization of P&ID, defining automation standards for motors, valves, etc.);Preparing technical specifications for instrumentation;Preparing technical specifications for control valves;Evaluating technical offers for instrumentation and providing technical opinions;Evaluating technical offers for control valves and providing technical opinions;Developing detailed engineering for instrumentation (installation standards, loop wiring, cable routing);Following up with suppliers of instrumentation, valves, and packages;Participating in FAT and SAT tests;Field activities: surveys;Supporting other engineering disciplines;Interfacing with client discipline counterparts.Minimum requirements:Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferably Automation, Chemical, or Electronic);At least 15 years of experience in process plant engineering;Motivation and interest in technical approfondment;Experience in coordinating project teams;Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral;Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad;Native Italian speaker; fluent in English, both spoken and written.We offer the opportunity to grow within a young and dynamic team, with the possibility of permanent employment or freelance collaboration, depending on the candidate''s preference, with compensation commensurate with experience.STI Engineering values merit, promotes responsibility, and strives for a healthy work-life balance.
