Head of Finance (Senior Finance Business Partner)

About the position:

As the Head of Finance, you have a proactive, controlling, signaling and advisory role within our organization. You are a sparring partner for various budget holders/managers in the financial field. You do this on the basis of various management reports and financial, as well as operational KPIs. In addition, you are the sparring partner for the managing director in the financial field.

You are responsible for:

• Managing the financial team, consisting of an administrative employee and a senior controller;
• Monitoring costs and identifying deviations from our financial objectives;
• Establishing financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, reporting standards, including bi-weekly, monthly and annual;
• In addition, you analyze the financial results and advise the management team on how to improve at a financial and operational level;
• You are involved in identifying financial opportunities and you help shape these opportunities, thus helping to improve business operations;
• You will also develop and maintain internal controls to maximize policies, procedures and workflows;

Svanehj EPS consists of a team of experts in innovative pump solutions and as part of an international group we operate worldwide in a niche market. We develop, sell and maintain pump installations for industry, maritime sector and offshore.

About you:

As the Head of Finance you are an indispensable link for the managing director in translating the figures. Your knowledge and experience in the financial field is a great addition to the growth and professionalization of Svanehj EPS further realization. What do you bring?

• At least a higher professional education diploma in business economics or accounting;
• Preferably several years of work experience in an (industrial) project organization;
• Good command of English;
• Experience with accounting software; ERP and consolidation applications
• Advisory skills;
• Leadership skills.

About the conditions:

• A challenging position for 40 hours per week;
• Market-conform salary, appropriate to your level of education and experience;
• Travel expenses reimbursement;
• 25 vacation days and 13 ATV days (on a full-time basis);
