Financial Markets SalesING Financial Markets is looking for a Corporate Sales for Foreign Exchange (FX), Rates and Commodities, to be based in Milan.INGs presence in Italy & Work EnvironmentThe Italian Sales team is composed of four individuals covering Corporate and Financial Institutions clients based in Italy and, in the FI case also based in Greece and Slovenia. The Italian Sales team is fully integrated with the global Salesforce of ING around the globe and works in close and constant cooperation with the Relationship managers, also Milan based. ING wholesale Banking Italy currently has approximately 140 employees.There is an ambitious growth plan towards Italian clients with the ambition of significantly improving INGs ranking with Italian clients in terms of lending and Financial Markets (FM) cross-sell.Frontrunner in sustainability: We were the first bank to market sustainability improvement facilities to large corporates and Financial Institutions.FM is the Banks gateway to the professional markets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of INGs clients with products, services and guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets, with an additional presence in all the major international markets and specialist expertise in selected emerging markets and products.Your roleThe FM Sales is the first point of contact for our clients. With a multi-product approach and a focus on FX and Rates, you are responsible for building strong client relationships and structuring new transactions. You will also need to provide best execution whilst ensuring INGs standards are preserved in terms of risk appetite, KYC/CDD requirements and pricing hurdles among others.As FM Sales you will have a deep knowledge and understanding of our WB value proposition. Within the broader EMEA FM Sales network and reporting directly or indirectly to the Head of FM Italy, you will be on the frontline of our business, not only as first point of contact for our clients, but also as an important sparring partner for our internal stakeholders within Sectors, Lending, Transaction Services and Strategic Products.Your key responsibilitiesTogether with other team members, managing the full process of transactions with our clients, including:Thorough, relevant and tailored pitching materialOnboarding of counterparties in our FM systemsBest execution on a day-to-day basisYou will have a multi-asset product scope (Rates, FX, Commodities) with a strong focus on origination and execution of Rates and FX hedgings.You will provide our clients with e-connectivity to trading platforms, with relevant updates, market colors on execution and sentiment.You will be responsible for improving and maximizing the cross-buy of FM solutions within INGs customer base, which requires to establish cooperation and bridges with other ING internal stakeholders.You will be responsible for operating under our KYC guidelines and ING Orange Code.Scope will be corporate clients in Italy.You will fully integrate with the existing Italian Corporate & FI Sales team members and you will be a real team player.Who are we looking for?A colleague with a talent for taking it on and making it happen, enthusiasm for helping others to be successful and a knack for always being a step ahead.
