Are you someone looking to contribute to transparency in the sustainability field? With your knowledge of sustainability reporting, you want to support companies in building their non-financial reporting disclosures and help them transition into becoming more sustainable.
We, at ERM, the worlds largest advisory firm focused solely on sustainability, are seeking a dedicated colleague who is passionate about supporting companies with their reporting and communications journeys whilst driving impactful corporate sustainability initiatives. You will be working as a Managing Consultant for our Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change (CS&CC) team in Belgium.
As our new colleague, you will work on challenging projects with a focus on how companies report on their business activities. However, we also have experts focused on topics such as ESG strategy, impact measurement, and human rights, giving you the possibility to engage in the full range of our corporate sustainability-related services. We have a diverse client base which includes corporates across most sectors, as well as financial and government institutions.
Role responsibilities
As a Managing Consultant, you will play an active role in project management, client relationship management, and business development activities. You will be responsible for both managing and delivering larger projects focused on corporate sustainability reporting as well as sourcing new clients and projects for this service (e.g. CSRD, double materiality, EU Taxonomy, and other reporting frameworks). In your projects, you will manage a project team and provide guidance to junior colleagues, ensuring realistic planning, good communication with the client and team, and pursuing and monitoring the quality of service. You will work on a strategic level together with the client to understand their needs and identify how our teams can offer them solutions.
Internally, you will work together with the team to identify how we can build on our current services to help our team and clients create the most impact possible. This will include connecting your expertise and that of your team members to our potential new services and clients. You will work with experts all over the globe, and cross-collaborate with other teams in EMEA.
