Overview: Join a well-established agri-food processing company in Co. Monaghan as a Maintenance Technician. Ensure efficient operation, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment to minimize downtime and maximise productivity.Job Responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate records.Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.Maintain and organize workshops and tools.Collaborate with equipment suppliers for installations and upgrades.Adhere to Food Safety and Health Safety regulations.Criteria:Skills Experience:Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.Technical diploma or degree in a relevant field.Personal Attributes:Team player, highly motivated, and flexible.Fluent in English and available for full-time and on-call work.Reward:Competitive salary with a 3% pension contribution.20 days annual leave.8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (6 am - 2 pm or 2 pm - 10 pm), with on-call duties on weekends.Overtime paid at 1.5 times the basic rate.On-call allowance.If you're a dedicated Maintenance Technician ready to make an impact, apply today!At Wallace Myers International Recruitment Agency we specialise in sourcing professionals for key industries and services.
