Senior Accountant / Financial Controller

What Youll Do
- Own and execute the full financial reporting cycle monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping across five business entities
- Lead the preparation of cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial models
- Monitor revenue recognition, cost allocations, and intercompany transactions
- Ensure compliance with Dutch GAAP and local tax obligations
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
- Partner with the CFO to optimize processes, implement controls, and create a future-proof finance organization
- Support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and reporting tools
- Manage and mentor junior team members in invoicing and reporting teams when needed
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Minimum of 57 years of relevant experience, ideally in a professional services firm or fast-paced, multi-entity environment
- Strong knowledge of Dutch accounting standards and tax regulations
- Hands-on experience with day-to-day accounting, general ledger, and reconciliations
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial software (e.g. Exact, Basecone, or similar)
- Ability to build structure, implement controls, and suggest process improvements
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and pragmatic with a can-do attitude
- Language skills: Native/Bilingual Dutch speaker and Fluent in English
