The team plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between design and implementation, focusing on commissioning and start-up of plant processes. As the EI Engineer, youll be the primary point of contact for all EI contractors.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for:Developing basic engineering packages and defining scopes of work for EI contractorsOverseeing the quality and execution of contractor workReviewing and inspecting EI designsCollaborating with process and automation engineers to select suitable instrumentation, valves, pumps, and related componentsTroubleshooting EI issues as they arise on siteCreating and maintaining quality assurance plans for the EI scope across projectsYour ProfileWere looking for someone who brings:At least 5 years of experience in EI engineering or project roles within the process industryA higher professional education (HBO) level or equivalent experienceProven experience managing contractors and reviewing EI designsStrong knowledge of both high-voltage and low-voltage systems, including technical specifications and fault diagnosisFluency in Dutch (spoken and written); English proficiency is a plusA hands-on, flexible, and assertive attitude, with the ability to work independentlyStrong teamwork skills in multidisciplinary project environments, including collaboration with production and maintenance teams
