Production Plant Operator in the Chemical & Pharmaceutical Industry
As a Production Plant Operator, you will contribute to the development of the company based in Asturias, north of Spain.
Key Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out tasks related to production operations.
- Following a comprehensive initial training period, these duties will be performed under the guidance of supervisors and in collaboration with team members.
- Operate automated systems (e.g., SCADA) to maintain continuous production.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Use forklifts to move materials.
- Ensure accurate documentation of batch and cleaning records.
Your Profile
- Completed Higher Vocational Training (Ciclo de Grado Superior) in Industrial Chemistry or a related field.
- Valid forklift operation certification (this additional qualification is considered a plus).
- Certification in electromechanical maintenance is highly valued.
- Experience in operating equipment in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated environment is a nice-to-have.
- Familiarity with batch processes, automated systems (e.g., DCS, SCADA), and production documentation (considered a plus).
- Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is a plus.
- Basic mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and support maintenance activities are considered a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols, hygiene standards, and environmental regulations.
- Physically fit and able to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong organizational skills, team-oriented with good communication skills, and a proactive work ethic.
- Spanish is a must, and English is a plus.
