If you love it, Scalapay it Were looking for ahands-on, results-driven Retail Acquisition Consultant to help us grow our network of merchant partners across key verticals. Youll work closely with the team to understand merchant needs and experiment with innovative ways to acquire new retail stores that will offer our service directly to their customers.Each consultant will be assigned various categories (verticals) and will be responsible for researching, testing, and refining the best way to acquire new merchants within that segment.What youll do:Talk to merchants to uncover pain points and what really works (cold calling, email, WhatsApp, direct mail, and more)Collect insights from the field to improve our messaging, materials, and product positioningTrack outreach and conversion metrics to continuously optimize your approachWhat we are looking for:Proven experience in outbound sales, such as door-to-door, cold calling, or cold emailing ideally in retail, hospitality, or other local business environmentsExcellent communication and persuasion skills you know how to approach store owners and staff, ask the right questions, and build trust quicklyHands-on, self-motivated, and results-driven you take initiative, stay focused, and are hungry to achieve ambitious goalsComfortable working independently in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment(Nice to have) Experience in startups or fintech you understand how to move fast, adapt, and prioritize what matters(Nice to have) Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, or OutreachWhat we offer:Ownership from day one: your work drives real impactFlexible setup: freelance (P.
