A growing player in the renewable energy sector is seeking a Biogas Engineer to support the construction and commissioning of biogas production units. The organization develops, finances, builds, and operates clean energy infrastructure across several countries, with a strong presence in France and international operations.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Biogas Director, you will oversee a portfolio of projects in the construction phase, ensuring optimal technical and financial execution while managing regulatory, planning, and safety constraints. Responsibilities include:
- Submitting grid connection and insurance applications
- Analyzing supplier and subcontractor bids
- Coordinating multiple work packages managed by different contractors
- Overseeing the execution of construction work
- Managing interfaces between work packages and resolving on-site issues
- Ensuring adherence to specifications, contracts, technical regulations, and safety standards
- Leading weekly site meetings
- Overseeing performance and commissioning tests
- Managing project budgets and timelines
- Driving continuous improvement in construction and project execution processes
Requirements:
- General engineering degree with a focus or interest in project management and sustainable development
- 37 years experience in construction project management, ideally in biogas, waste treatment, or complex industrial projects
- Familiarity with agricultural or agri-food sectors is a plus
- Strong understanding of regulations related to organic matter (waste, by-products, health, etc.)
- Technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering
- Highly organized, autonomous, hands-on, and proactive
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
