Aero Alliance Central Engineering LeaderSpecialista Senior / Project ManagerJob Description SummaryThe Aero Alliance Senior Engineer Leader will have the responsibility to lead scope definition and implementation in the AA shop network. This role is the technical chief reference within Aero Alliance, driving consistency across the network, owning standard practices, and collaborating with external stakeholders for scope definition and execution.Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities:Insource engineering competencies to assess engine needs and the applicability of standard/CBM Scope of Work (SoW), and build the Engineering Team.Lead the Aero Alliance Engineering team, including multidisciplinary engineering staff (shop operations and Shop Practice Manual writing) and Operations engineers.Implement the Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) initiative across Aero Alliance Level 4 Service Networks.Define a reduced applicable Scope of Work through structured Shop Practice manuals, minimizing the use of full IRM.Activate shop-level operations based on Shop Practice manuals aligned with SoW requirements.Verify adherence to the designed CBM process and monitor process control through specific KPIs.Optimize the maintenance process of Level 4 operations by applying standard SoW during major overhauls.Reduce external supply chain dependency by limiting component sourcing and requirements.Serve as the chief engineer for critical technical decisions regarding SoW applicability within Aero Alliance.Be the technical reference in discussions with Channels.Key Skills:Deep understanding of engine systems and performance.Experience with ADGT maintenance and component repair.Qualifications for US candidates:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.Minimum 10 years of experience with turbo machinery, aviation, or similar engines, modules, and components.At least 7 years of direct technical experience with turbo machinery, industrial gas turbines, or aviation engines.Minimum 5 years of experience managing direct reports.Experience supporting shop operations.Proficient in technical writing.Qualifications for non-US applicants:Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.Significant experience with turbo machinery, aviation, or similar engines, modules, and components.Extensive experience working with turbo machinery or aviation engines.Experience managing direct reports.Shop support experience.Proficient technical writing skills.Desired Characteristics:Strong process orientation.Leadership by influence without direct authority.Champion of continuous improvement.About Us:Aero Alliance is a joint venture serving customers through its parent companies, Baker Hughes and GE Vernova, as well as the ASP network.
