Job Description: SCP Sales DirectorThe SCP Sales Director is responsible for driving continuous improvement of the SCP customer segment in Italy, including achieving revenue targets and key performance metrics by implementing standardized processes, services, methodologies, and tools across Italy. This role supports the region in delivering top business performance and transforming their business over time. A deep understanding of the strategic customer segment (SCP), its best practices, metrics, and customer demands is essential. Excellent communication skills are critical to drive alignment and collaboration across regions, Customer Success Board areas, and other departments. The SCP Sales Director is part of the SCP Leadership Team and reports directly to the Regional Head of SCP.Expectations and TasksLead and manage a team to maximize solutions sales, customer and partner satisfaction, and territory management within a vertical or geographic market segment. Set vision and strategy, develop territory plans, leverage all Routes to Market, formulate objectives and standards, and coach team members. Build relationships with key customers and partners, maintain accurate pipeline and forecast, and develop high-performing sales professionals through mentoring and hiring. Ensure customer lifecycle data is current, advise marketing on planning, monitor activities, manage resources, and handle complex sales cycles. Generate profitable software and services revenue from designated industries.Align Italy-led initiatives to exceed performance targets, including software and services revenue, pipeline, and renewal targets. Establish and monitor performance metrics aligned with global expectations. Promote best practices and support the adoption of consistent processes and methodologies. Conduct business reviews, drive SCP Italy GTM processes, develop marketing and enablement plans, and oversee their execution. Lead strategic programs, ensure effective consultation, and drive continuous improvement to support the field. Innovate to reduce manual activities through automation and low-cost alternatives. Drive programs and best practices across Italy.
