Job OverviewThe Commissioning Engineer requires an in-depth understanding of commissioning, completions, and training, along with basic knowledge of construction and operations & maintenance. The role involves applying industry understanding to improve effectiveness, guide processes, and influence policies.Primary FunctionsReports to the Commissioning Manager and supports the Commissioning Lead in preparing home office deliverables. At the site, collaborates closely with the Construction team for mechanical completion inspections and system acceptance for pre-commissioning. Maintains positive relationships within the project team and with the client.ResponsibilitiesDevelop systemization and boundary mark-ups.Participate in engineering design reviews (HAZOP, P&ID''s, SIL, Model reviews).Create commissioning activity schedules for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.Support commissioning activities including manuals, spares, first fills, procedures, and system checks.Participate in testing, resolve operational issues, and supervise personnel and subcontractors.QualificationsDegree or diploma in engineering or related field.Minimum 5 years'' LNG project experience.Experience in at least 2 major LNG EPC projects during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.Effective communication skills, computer proficiency, organizational skills, and adaptability.Willingness to travel and proficiency in English; multilingual skills are a plus.Additional InformationThe position is initially office-based in Milan for approximately 12 months before transferring to the site until project handover of a two-train LNG facility at RFSU.
