Responsibilities:
- Design, build, operate and continuously improve infrastructure platforms, including centralised storage and SAN.
- Keep infrastructure secure, up to date and online.
- Develop internal tooling and processes that improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.
- Promote infrastructure software development practices and DevOps.
- Teach, mentor, grow and advise other domain experts and teams in the organisation.
- Participate in on-call duties in rotation with other team members.
Profile:
- Engineering or university degree.
- Significant knowledge of architecture topics such as integration, security and storage technologies (Kubernetes, Ceph, Cinder).
- Proficiency in software craftsmanship practices, programming and scripting languages (Python, Java, Go, bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with infrastructure management tools (monitoring and observability, logging, configuration management).
- Deeply curious, ready to help, always learning new skills and technologies.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Focuses on proactive strategies to prevent issues before they occur.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate
